The Company - Who are we?

Our business is founded on an extensive patent portfolio relating to transmissions and geared products.

The Group has a strong R&D facility in Warwick, UK, which designs, prototypes and develops all types of mechanical transmissions. Antonov has invested more than £30m in R&D, product development and continue to bring innovative inventions to market by licensing technology to customers.

Antonov offer Transmission Product Development, Design, Analysis & Engineering Consultancy Services which enables us to share our extensive knowledge and expertise with our customers. The automotive market is our biggest focus, but we have a keen interest in other industry sectors, particularly clean and renewable energy applications.

Antonov plc was listed on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange in May 1995 and the Amsterdam Stock Exchange in 1997. Antonov was founded on the original patented invention of Roumen Antonov.

Key Technologies

Based on its patented 2 speed mechanical shift module technology Antonov develops compact, efficient 2-speed gearboxes to optimise the performance and fuel efficiency of engine accessories such as alternators and superchargers

Antonov has developed a passenger car 6 speed automatic transmission for production in China, offering low volume vehicle makers the opportunity to provide a cost effective, efficient world class automatic transmission option on their vehicles.
